Who ever said Retail was an No-Nonesense, Easy Peasy Career Choice.
We have all seen and experienced the following, but I have included some ways you can work around these everyday items.
👉Crazy and Needy Crowds. – Keep Smiling, Breathe, Exhale and Repeat. Please remember to Exhale.
👉Long Line-Ups – One Customer at a Time. No more, No less.
👉Answering Stupid Questions. – Write some of them down and Share these Questions with your Teams for a Good Laugh. Be Patient as everyone cannot be like you :).
👉Seeing Merchandise on the Floor you Never Thought you Carried. – Okedoke Smokey and make sure it’s priced and in your Inventory or otherwise it will develop into a Roadblock at the register.
👉And the Random Dirty Disgusting Diaper mixed in with your other Products on the Shelf. – DO NOT Delegate or Pretend you didn’t see this. Hold your Nose, get some gloves….and pick it up and throw it out.
Yup, all in a days work for us RetailWarriors.
