😁 Here are some ways that I keep my Mental Health in check in and out of work.
💨 Breathe. When I become aware that my thoughts are trying to take over; I sit back and control my breathing.
🔔 Not everything is urgent. I have become an expert at prioritizing emails and messages. If it is urgent please call me.
Life is a marathon and not a sprint.
📻 Music is my best friend. Just don’t tell Michelle.
🚶♂️Take a break and go for a walk. !0,000 steps a day is a good goal.
🗨 Talk to yourself. There is nothing wrong with having a conversation with oneself out loud. Yes, you will get stares, but who the F⭐️ck cares.
📣 Share your overwhelming thoughts with a friend and stop holding them in internally where they will fester and drag you down.
🚦 Know when it is time to shut down and realize that there will always be something to do even after you are 🪦 dead.
And most importantly…
🙏 Ask for help. Being vulnerable is not being weak. It is actually the opposite.
