๐ Here are some ways that I keep my Mental Health in check in and out of work.
๐จ Breathe. When I become aware that my thoughts are trying to take over; I sit back and control my breathing.
๐ Not everything is urgent. I have become an expert at prioritizing emails and messages. If it is urgent please call me.
Life is a marathon and not a sprint.
๐ป Music is my best friend. Just don’t tell Michelle.
๐ถโโ๏ธTake a break and go for a walk. !0,000 steps a day is a good goal.
๐จ Talk to yourself. There is nothing wrong with having a conversation with oneself out loud. Yes, you will get stares, but who the Fโญ๏ธck cares.
๐ฃ Share your overwhelming thoughts with a friend and stop holding them in internally where they will fester and drag you down.
๐ฆ Know when it is time to shut down and realize that there will always be something to do even after you are ๐ชฆ dead.
And most importantly…
๐ Ask for help. Being vulnerable is not being weak. It is actually the opposite.
