Do YOU Really Need to be LIKED at Work?

Question for you…

Yes you.

Do you Like Me ๐Ÿ˜ ?

As #Retail #Leaders we are responsible to #Manage and #Coach our stores to the best of our abilities and sometimes our decisions may not be popular.

๐Ÿ‘‰ So the question that needs to be asked is:

โ€“ Why do we feel the need to be โ€œlikedโ€ as a Leader, Coach or Manager.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Is it because we believe that if you hurt an Employees feelings or ego they will just get up and go?

Well, you know whatโ€ฆ.

…thatโ€™s life, and no need to feel sorry for hurting someones outershell as long as you did it
with purpose, and in a meaningful and respectful way with the intention to bring out the best of your Team and itโ€™s Individuals.

๐Ÿ‘ We are in place as Leaders to ensure the Retail machine is well oiled and that all the components are running like clockwork.

If they arenโ€™t, then there is a problem, and the problem may be with you not giving consistent and structured feedback.

Giving feedback,

a corrective action,

or going against the popular decision may not place in you in line for a Gold Medal with your #Team or win a popularity contest but it will keep your ship steering in the right direction.
