Here is today’s short video talking about Culture in your Retail workplace.
Everyone’s definition of Culture in the workplace will be different but the sole factor that needs to remain the same is it being ๐ฅณ inclusive?
Unfortunately the word inclusive is often left out and therefore creates factions of groups, to which some are the teachers pet and their behavior is accepted.
This is a real shโญ๏ธtty thing that happens and as the Leader of your store, you are in control of this and need to steer it accordingly.
…and guess what?
You ๐ the District and Regional Manager team need to take your stores Culture temperature when visiting, and not be afraid to share what you are seeing in the moment.
You are part Captain of that Ship and need to course correct when things don’t smell right.
Kapish?
You will know when there is a Culture Heartbeat๐.
๐ It starts right away when you enter the store.
๐ It continues when you walk the floor (please get out of that office).
๐ And ends when you say Goodbye.
…and all in between your are looking for one thing.

Now how hard was that?
There is so much more that can be written when things are not right and they are fโญ๏ธcked up, but that is a whole other discussion, to which I will review shortly.
