A six letter word that we all have experienced and all have pointed our finger outwards to the supposed perceived cause of it.
🤔 Did you know that the majority of our stress developped from our perception of the situation?
Anyone in Retail can tell you that they have experienced Stress levels that they thought would bury them.
😁 Guess what, you and everyone else are still around and the subject you were stressed about evaporated into thin air.
Did the stressor just dissappear?
It was just replaced by something else.
This needs to Stop.
1️⃣ Step 1:
Stop what you are doing.
2️⃣ Step 2:
Take a deep breath.
3️⃣ Step 3:
Think of your favorite, most loved, funniest moment & relive it in your head or however you choose.
4️⃣ Step 4:
Take a walk with the memory fresh in your mind & smile or laugh about it because it brought you pleasure.
5️⃣ Step 5:
Drink a glass of water.
6️⃣ Step 6:
This only works once it becomes a habit & will only work once you start to identify that a stressor is sneaking up on on you.
Now get back to that pissed off Customer who has been waiting to speak with you for the last 10 minutes while you were reading this.
