Living in the world of #Retail depends on #Feedback from your Peers, Coaches and Management..but what happens when that is not done in a timely manner?
It’s called Radio Silence and leaves the Audience second guessing their worthiness within a company.
There is no excuse for this to happen and I don’t care if you did not have the time to provide feedback on someones presentation, performance, leadership skills or just them going above and beyond. Feedback needs to happen at all costs and if not ironically it will cost you more in the end.
Questions for you:
So what has activated this Radio Silence?
Why do you think it is your right not to provide feedback after someone worked on your request.
Have you, yourself experiened this in the past to which has led you to this behaviour?
Any of these points need to be put to bed right now otherwise that Wall of Silence will continue to a wall is built, good luck tearing it down.
So why even build it in the first place? Well you tell me.
Is it because you are a coward an unwilling to give feedback that makes someone look better than you? What are you afraid of weirdo?
Is it because you don’t have the time? Everyone has thaaee time, you just need to find it in the crevices between your many coffee breaks.
Is it because you just forgot too? Yup, this is a common one but it can be corrected with just a SINCERE apology.
Enough already and Man / Woman open up to what your actual responsibilities are and give that feedback.
This is one of your MAIN points in your Job Description to do so….
