The art of Leadership is saying no, not yes. It is very easy to say yes.
As a Leader, Coach, Manager, it is your job to protect the Company, it’s Employees and it’s Shareholders from any external or internal harm.
Therefore if something is not going right or you believe that a new initiative is a little wonky please do not be afraid to voice your concern.
Saying or nodding “YES” to a plan makes you an accomplice and takes away any of your credibility to the future rights to say “I told you so”.
👉There is nothing wrong with disagreeing, but please come to the table with your reasons why and don’t expect to win every battle.
