Lessons in Retail| Stress, it is still in your control.

stressed

Happy Thursday.

To continue yesterday’s post I am posting the following lyrics from George Harrison song – All things must pass.

This song appeared on my play list last night while I was chilling in my garage with Bella – my dog, planning out my day for tomorrow and drinking a Heineken.

The lyrics are simple and summarize what we ‘Retailers – the crazy ones – need to keep in the front of our minds and the back of our heads at all times.

Controlling ones stress not only helps your mental state and clarity, but it also keeps your Teams productivity and happiness. No one wants to work for a stressed, on the edge, coffee drinking, chain smoking, negative, naked Leader.

So… here it is. Until tomorrow.

All Things Must Pass”

Sunrise doesn’t last all morning
A cloudburst doesn’t last all day
Seems my love is up and has left you with no warning
It’s not always going to be this grey

All things must pass
All things must pass away

Sunset doesn’t last all evening
A mind can blow those clouds away
After all this, my love is up and must be leaving
It’s not always going to be this grey

All things must pass
All things must pass away
All things must pass
None of life’s strings can last
So, I must be on my way
And face another day

Now the darkness only stays the night-time
In the morning it will fade away
Daylight is good at arriving at the right time
It’s not always going to be this grey

All things must pass
All things must pass away
All things must pass
All things must pass away

George Harrison
